I work through series-based processes, developing technical innovation and artistic expression in parallel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Internationally Recognized Practice<\/strong>. My artistic practice has been recognized in an international expert evaluation (2025) as high-level and distinctive. The evaluation concluded that my work meets the standards for senior academic positions on artistic grounds, reinforcing my expertise in demanding artistic and technical projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art + Acoustics \u2013 Sustainable Solutions for Spaces<\/strong>. Currently, I am expanding my \u201cArt + Acoustics\u201d series, focusing on ecological, plastic-free solutions that enhance the acoustic qualities of both public and private spaces without compromising aesthetic value. Captivating Mindscapes and Historical Continuity<\/strong>. Throughout history, wall textiles have brought softness, humanity, and meaning to interior spaces. They have served both to diminish coldness and to convey stories. My Art + Acoustics<\/strong> series continues this tradition by integrating woven textile art into modern architecture\u2014creating environments where visual identity and sensory experience are inextricably intertwined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Design to Functional Acoustics<\/strong>. In my work, acoustics is an integral part of the design process, not an added feature. I develop structures that seamlessly combine sound management with aesthetic expression. Each piece features an integrated acoustic element made of pleated sheep\u2019s wool needle felt, developed and tested in collaboration with the Turku University of Applied Sciences Acoustics Laboratory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on indicative measurement results, the artworks achieve a high Absorption Class B<\/strong> (ISO 354:2003, EN ISO 11654:1997), making them effective solutions even for acoustically demanding environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ethical and Sustainable Materials<\/strong>. My practice is built upon the meticulous selection of materials and long-term durability. I utilize renewable natural fibers and develop solutions that are entirely plastic-free.
